What’s one person’s rain
- Oct 20
- 1 min read
older poetry, altered
What’s one person’s rain
is another’s feed
I breathe vapours
like a dragon
I shouldn’t need to
Learn, I am my
sanctuary
The trunk’s heritage
and comfort, is obsolete
Bouncing about on the spot
and loved
I can be alive, aligned
Regulated feeding line
When my soul shakes
and the wind blows
through my leaves
Shuddered, I can turn to others
Learning to rely
on those without rocks
between their teeth
It doesn’t have to be
what I’ve always done
Passion for change
For freedom
For being me
You bite down on your
own brutality
Who cares?
I can cope when energy stirs me
I will overcome
All I want is peace
