What diary management (that I need) does to my psyche, Need a moment to come home to me, after busy periods
From worlds that add
And times that under-deliver Living life, like the build up, Home to New Year’s Eve!
The comedown
The wind down
The branches of possibility
Now, that I can do anything
By ideas, we are transfixed
and Not Moving
Pulled, (in) by my lack of focus
Cannot let me be
(tough on me, overloaded)
The pull of the letdown
and nothingness behind
the inner-dialogues drops
and the magic of the lifts
I can, I can’t, do this
Here’s the failing, in all the choices
An ideas station, that loses all that
(can’t), feel like a treasured gift
I forget, whilst they grift
The cons and disappointments
Life starts, and begins again,
momentarily
I needed more
The welcome, everyday, that felt like bliss
Turning into waves of soothing
inwards, Needs Actually Met
The pride I feel!
For the nothings that I said
From the discography classics
of my insides
Presented in what feels like
shouting
But, audibly reached me
Only, in a familiar hiss
surrounded by broken glass
All the places, I can’t remember, I went
Shake down, as I feel lighter
and it lifts
I will never look at this with regret!
I dance, perfect, steps of joy
to music, without moving
I see dogs trotting
and I spring me out, to feel alive
Too exhausted to see the joy
Mysteriously, it re-arrives
I know it will
I kept it going
The sunflowers turning to the light
and trying swing me back
after sitting in it
The disjointed florets
that send other’s noses sniffing
They are disgusted, me warming myself up
I’m excited
Worthy
Believing, into overdrive
Itching, with my repetitiveness
Can’t say I haven’t tried
Pulling myself out of it
The team around me
The nourishment, that I wish I accepted
through care and more dutifully
The brightness, colour and saturated
sugar passions
Leaving, on the run
Scattered with paint splatters
They see leaks
It brings me!
I notice them
My soundtrack helps me
survive
